Congratulations to Jenna Casey, postdoctoral research fellow in the free radical and radiation biology program and in the lab of A. Brent Carter. Jenna was awarded the Vere D. Wenger Travel Award for an oral presentation she gave at the Cancer Biology Training Consortium, CABTRAC Meeting in Wilmington, NC in October of 2013. The title of her presentation was, “Akt is Required for Mitochondrial Oxidative Stress and Pulmonary Fibrosis by Regulation of Rac1”. A link to the conference may be seen here.
