Congrats and well done to Dr. Mike Petronek on securing a $15,000 Career Development Award from the Radiation Research Foundation (RRF) for his pilot project entitled “Evaluating radiation-induced iron accumulation in glioblastoma”. This award is intended to support activities that will further the development of a research career in the radiation sciences. This award was also made possible by a special contribution to RRF from Precision X-ray Incorporated to support a project in the radiological sciences with an emphasis on precision irradiation approaches that include controlled and well documented dosimetry to ensure repeatability of results.
