Yi Sun, MD, PhD a Doctoral student of Larry W. Oberley is to receive an endowed professorship at the University of Michigan this November. He will be conferred the honor of "Theodore S. Lawrence, M.D., Ph.D. and Patricia Krause Research Professor of Radiation Oncology" in an awards ceremony to be held on November 18 in the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building at the University of Michigan. Dr Sun graduated from the then Radiation Biology program in 1989; the title of his thesis was "Antioxidant Enzymes in Normal and Transformed Mouse Liver Cells".
