Kelly Falls, a student in the FRRBP program won a University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Trainee Scholar Travel Award. This award was bestowed on her, for her first author publication "Augmentation of intracellular iron using iron sucrose enhances the toxicity of pharmacological ascorbate in colon cancer cells" published in the August 2017 edition of Redox Biology. 

Travels funds are available for national or international travel to scientific conferences and events. Congratulations to Kelly!
