Topics in Radiation Cancer Biology, Journal Club FRRB:6008
This journal club can be taken during the fall and spring semesters for 1 graduate credit. Alternatively, interested participants (students or faculty) can sign up and present an article or simply sit in on presentations given by other students and faculty. It currently meets every other Monday from 11:30 am-12:30 pm in B180 ML. The course director is Dr. Douglas Spitz.
Current topics in Radiation and Cancer Biology will be covered, focusing on recent articles from the literature. Students signed up for credit should get their papers for presentations approved at least one week prior to presenting by one of the faculty members in charge of the course. All interested presenters from outside the Free Radical and Radiation Biology Program should sign up for a presentation date with Ms. Ting Gao (ting-gao@uiowa.edu) and obtain approval from Dr. Spitz for each article to be presented.
